Post-graduate in European and Economic Criminal Law (IDPEE) at the Law School of Coimbra University jointly with the Brazilian Criminal Sciences Institute (IBCCrim).

Graduated in Law from the Catholic University of São Paulo.

Member of the Brazilian Arm of the International Criminal Law Association.

Member of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences and also on the editorial board of the Institute’s bulletin.

He has also published several scientific articles in specialized journals, including “Article 366 of the Criminal Procedural Code (CPP) and the Federal Supreme Court (STF) ”, “The mandatory nature of preventive custody in extradition requests and the right to freedom”, “Article 22, sole paragraph, final section of Law No. 7.492/86: unregulated criminal norms, Central Bank circulars and successive norms thereafter: application of the measures retroactively?” in issues 182, 186 and 195 of the IBCCRIM Bulletin, and “The need to put the statute of limitations on prison sentences in perspective”, in IOB’s Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law Review, n. 55.
